Reading your Bible daily is a common and great new year's resolution, but it can also be a difficult habit to keep up with. Here are some tips and tricks to help you stick to you new goal.

Read at the same time daily: Look at your schedule and figure out a time you have free every day. Maybe this is early in the morning, or right before bed, or even a time slot in the middle of the day. Designate this time as your reading time. By reading at the same time everyday, you will avoid putting off your reading or being too busy/overwhelmed.

Use a reading plan: The Bible is a big book and its hard to know where to begin. There are many different reading plans available. Some start at the beginning and give you a certain amount to read everyday, others jump around to different books and chapters. There are many different methods to reading the Bible and finding one that works for you will make being consistent much easier.

Put your phone in a different room: It's easy to choose fast entertainment over reading your Bible. That's why its helpful to put the distractions far away. Checking notifications can easily pull you away from what you're trying to do.

Take it day by day: Once you miss a day it's easy to start missing more. You convince yourself that you've already messed up your goal. Don't give up if you miss a few days, reading your Bible a little bit is better than never at all.

Reading your Bible daily is an important, but difficult, task. We hope that you are able to use some of these tricks and implement them into your daily life!
