For the best hammocking experience you need two things. Specifically, two trees or posts that are five to eight feet apart. This can be a hard thing to find and the longer it takes the less time you have to hammock. So here is a guide to get you up off the ground in no time.

Hammock Village

This is a classic and perhaps the most obvious choice. Each post is perfectly placed at the optimal distance from each other. The possibilities of where to set up are endless. As a nice bonus, you can bring everyone in your cabin and hang out together!

By the Rec Center

The trees by the rec center are perfect spot for when you want to relax and watch a game of nine square or gaga ball. It's a little loud in this area so if you want to take a nap you might be better heading somewhere else.

Jumping Rock

Although it takes a little longer to walk to, if you want a serene hangout there is no better place than right by jumping rock. The trees are perfectly placed allowing for multiple people to hammock at the same time. The best feature of this spot is that it's right along the creek. You can hear the bubbling of the water and the sounds of the wildlife making this one of the best places for hammock naps.

Happy Hammocking!
