Safety

At Seneca Hills, we want campers to take risks and challenge themselves.  We want campers to experience things they ordinarily wouldn’t experience at home.  That being said, we provide a safe and secure environment for kids to explore and grow.  Our summer and residential staff is carefully screened, trained, and dedicated to a high level of safety in all activities. Our outdoor equipment is inspected, maintained, and certified according to Project Adventure standards.  All of our policies and procedures related to food service, human resources, operations, facilities, health and wellness, transportation, and program are reviewed and accredited by the American Camp Association.  Each week, we have two Registered Nurses on campus to adminster medication and deal with emergencies.  Food served at Seneca Hills always includes fruits and vegetables and alternatives can be provided in case of food allergies.

Our parents say:

“Love coming to this camp. It is a great place to keep our Christian values in place and not have to worry about where or what is going on with our kids.”

“I have attended numerous retreats/family weekend, and had the joy of sending my son to his first Jr. Camp week this year…and hearing of his new knowledge and faith at the end of he week confirmed Seneca has and will continue to do the Lord’s work in furthering God’s Kingdom.”

“Due to illness, our son arrived late to camp. When he arrived the next morning he was welcomed immediately and made to feel as if he was really important and missed. He felt comfortable right away by the friendly and open staff. Any worries about arriving late melted right away!”
