Ropes Course

The Ropes Course provides a unique and valuable experience for

any group, youth and adults.  Make the Ropes Course part of your

retreat or a separate event.

Initiatives

Each group that comes to the ropes course

will have the opportunity to fill out a goal

assessment sheet before arriving, to allow us

to meet your group's unique goals and needs

A day at the ropes course, typically begins with

initiatives that allow groups to formulate and

begin to meet their goals.  Often initiatives are

used to break the ice and get to know one

another.  Initiatives allow groups to begin working on

trust, communication, teamwork, problem

solving skills, safety, and unity, as well as other

goals. The number of initiatives varies,

depending on the group familiarity and unity.

Low Ropes

We offer several low ropes elements that are

especially valuable for building group unity

and fostering team skills.

Instruction from our facilitators precedes

each element, and a discussion follows after

completion, to facilitate the group's understanding

of what they have accomplished and how

these lessons can be applied.

Some groups may find that low ropes are all

their group needs to accomplish their goals,

especially if they center around team building

High Ropes

Our High Ropes Course includes elements

that are done by individuals or with a partner.

The high ropes range in height from 16 to 40

feet.

High Ropes are typically the culmination

of a day at the ropes course, to help

build individual's confidence, trust,

and courage.

All of our facilitators have fulfilled several

hours of training and facilitation instruction.
