Camper Checklist -- What to bring to camp!

 

  • Bible
  • Pencil
  • Notebook
  • Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets
  • Pillow
  • Sleep wear and slippers
  • Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste)
  • Casual sports wear (clothing with writing on the bottom, shirts that are revealing, or any clothes that would reveal undergarments are not permitted!)
  • Tennis
  • Creek shoes other than flip flops
  • Swimsuit and towel (no two piece bathing suits)
  • Rain gear (boots, poncho, umbrella, etc)
  • Jacket or sweatshirt
  • Towels, washcloth, shower shoes
  • Flashlight
  • Insect repellant
  • Sun screen
  • Mission and Seneca offering envelopes
  • Camera and film
  • Stationary, stamps, envelopes (pre-addressed envelopes or postcards)
  • All medications must be in the original bottle with the label intact

    Note: mark all of your personal belongings with your name.

  • Parents: Many injuries that occur at camp are caused by inappropriate footwear on uneven or wet terrain, we discourage campers from wearing flip flops except to shower. When sandals must be worn, we recommend water shoes, Crocs, or other summer footwear with a heal strap.

    Please do not bring: Food, snacks, candy, gum, electronic gaming or music devices, mobile phones, games, or playing cards.

    All medications, except inhalers and epipens, must be given to the camp nurse at registration.  Inhalers may remain with the campers, after informing the camp nurse.  Any non-prescription medication(s) needs to have a release signed by the parent or guardian.

    Medication(s) must be in the original bottle with the camper's name attached.

    Refilling of medications is the responsibility of the camper.
